The Milwaukee Bucks overwhelmed the Dallas Mavericks 137-107 on Wednesday night, fueled by dominant performances from Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.
Antetokounmpo finished with 32 points, surpassing 20,000 career points in the process, while Lillard led all scorers with 34.
Milwaukee (36-25) has now won eight of its last nine games, maintaining momentum despite playing on the second night of a back-to-back.
Antetokounmpo, who also grabbed 15 rebounds, became the 52nd player in NBA history to reach 20,000 points. The only players to accomplish the feat at a younger age were LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Wilt Chamberlain, and Michael Jordan.
Kevin Porter Jr. added a triple-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 14 assists, tying his career high in dimes.
Dallas (32-31) struggled with a depleted roster, missing multiple key players, including Kyrie Irving, who recently suffered a torn ACL.
Klay Thompson led the Mavericks with 28 points, while Naji Marshall contributed 22 and grabbed 11 rebounds.
Dallas briefly held a 19-18 lead in the first quarter before Milwaukee took control with an 18-3 run, capped by a Lillard jumper.
The Bucks led 43-30 after the opening period and never looked back, recording their highest point total and biggest win of the season.
Lillard shot 11-of-15 from the field, including 5-of-8 from three, and was a perfect 7-of-7 from the free-throw line.
Antetokounmpo needed just 24 minutes of action to reach his milestone, taking advantage of the lopsided nature of the game to rest the entire fourth quarter.
Porter, who came off the bench, secured his first triple-double since March 2023 when he was with the Houston Rockets.
Milwaukee shot 58.4% from the field and 45.7% from beyond the arc, putting the game out of reach early.
Dallas, which had only eight available players, shot just 45.9% from the field and 33.3% from deep.
The Mavericks now face an uphill battle as they attempt to stay competitive without Irving and other injured players.
Milwaukee has gone 7-1 since Bobby Portis began serving his 25-game suspension after initially struggling in games he missed.
