The Washington Wizards (12-49) secured a 125-122 victory over the Utah Jazz (15-47) on Wednesday night, snapping their three-game losing streak.

Kyshawn George led the way for Washington with 23 points, while Alex Sarr contributed 21 points on 8-for-12 shooting. Seven Wizards players reached double figures, including Justin Champagnie, who provided 17 points off the bench.

Johnny Juzang paced the Jazz with 27 points, and Kyle Filipowski added 23 points and 13 rebounds. Isaiah Collier filled the stat sheet with 19 points, six rebounds, and six assists, but Utah fell short in the closing moments.

With less than four minutes remaining, Utah trailed by just three points after forcing a miss from Khris Middleton. However, Sarr’s putback dunk and a clutch three-pointer from George pushed Washington’s lead to 116-108, giving them enough cushion to hold on.

Despite Utah’s 64-46 advantage in points in the paint, the Wizards capitalized on their transition play, scoring 28 fast-break points. They also converted 24 points off turnovers, making up for their struggles inside.

Brice Sensabaugh had a chance to send the game into overtime but missed a three-point attempt with a second left. He finished with 15 points on 5-for-15 shooting.

Filipowski continued his strong play, following up a season-high 25 points against Detroit with another standout performance. However, the Jazz dropped their 10th consecutive road game, struggling to close out another tight contest.
