Tyler Herro led the charge with 29 points as the Miami Heat held off the Indiana Pacers 125-120 in a thrilling Friday night matchup. The Heat, now 28-30 and seventh in the East, continued their offensive surge, shooting 57% from the field for the second straight game.

Herro’s clutch performance was complemented by Duncan Robinson, who added 20 points, and Bam Adebayo, who chipped in 18 points and seven assists. Miami’s balanced attack proved too much for Indiana, despite a stellar night from Pascal Siakam and Tyrese Haliburton.

Siakam exploded for 36 points, including eight three-pointers, while Haliburton recorded a double-double with 19 points and 10 assists. Myles Turner also contributed 22 points, but the Pacers couldn’t sustain their hot start from beyond the arc.

Indiana made 12 of their first 15 three-point attempts but cooled off significantly, finishing 21-of-39 from deep. Miami, meanwhile, shot 17-of-32 from three.

The Heat took control with a 13-0 run bridging the third and fourth quarters, turning a one-point deficit into a 104-92 lead. Davion Mitchell’s clutch three-pointer with 43.8 seconds left broke a tie and sealed the win for Miami.

Injuries impacted both teams, as Miami’s Jaime Jaquez Jr. exited with an ankle injury, and Andrew Wiggins missed the game with a sprained right ankle. Despite the setbacks, the Heat’s depth and resilience shone through.

With the win, Miami continues to climb the Eastern Conference standings, while Indiana, now 33-25, looks to regroup after dropping their fifth game in seven outings.

The Heat’s offensive resurgence has been a key factor in their recent success. Over their last two games, they’ve shot 58% from the field, tying the seventh-best two-game span in franchise history.
