The Milwaukee Bucks rallied in the fourth quarter to secure a 120-113 victory over the Miami Heat on Sunday, extending their winning streak to four games.
Damian Lillard led Milwaukee with 28 points and eight assists after missing the previous game with a hamstring strain. Giannis Antetokounmpo added 23 points and 16 rebounds while playing 32 minutes despite recent injury concerns.
Tyler Herro matched his season-high with 40 points and dished out 11 assists, but Miami struggled down the stretch. Bam Adebayo contributed 24 points, and Andrew Wiggins scored 20 for the Heat, who have now lost three of their last four games.
The Bucks trailed by as many as 14 points but outscored Miami 35-20 in the final quarter. After Herro’s three-pointer tied the game at 109, Milwaukee closed on an 11-4 run to seal the win.
Brook Lopez finished with 17 points, while Kyle Kuzma and Gary Trent Jr. each scored 16 for the Bucks. Kevin Porter Jr. added 11 points off the bench, including a key sequence where he scored seven straight to ignite Milwaukee’s comeback.
Herro, a Milwaukee native and the reigning NBA three-point contest winner, struggled from deep, making just 3-of-12 attempts. He went 1-of-5 from beyond the arc in the first half but remained aggressive, shooting 13-of-14 from the free-throw line.
Miami’s reserves were outscored 34-12, with Kel’el Ware being the only Heat bench player to reach double figures, posting 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Lillard and Antetokounmpo, both expected to have playing-time restrictions, logged 38 and 32 minutes, respectively. The two combined for nine turnovers but made crucial plays in the closing minutes.
Milwaukee grabbed its first lead since the opening quarter when Porter threw an alley-oop to Jericho Sims for a dunk that made it 97-95 with 9:20 left. The Heat never regained control as the Bucks tightened their defense.
The Bucks shot 51.2% from the field and knocked down 14 three-pointers, while Miami finished at 46.6% overall and struggled from deep at 29%. The Heat also committed nine turnovers, leading to 13 Milwaukee points.
With the win, the Bucks improved to 32-24, holding the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. The Heat dropped to 26-29, remaining in eighth place.
