Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro emerged victorious in the 2025 All-Star 3-Point Contest, showcasing his sharpshooting skills on the big stage. In the final round, Herro delivered an impressive performance by scoring 24 points, securing the win and solidifying his reputation as one of the league’s premier long-range shooters.

Golden State Warriors guard Buddy Hield put up a strong challenge, finishing just one point behind Herro with 23 points in the decisive round. Despite his impressive effort, Hield ultimately settled for second place in the highly competitive event.

The contest also featured Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard, who was aiming to make history by winning his third consecutive 3-Point Contest title. However, Lillard struggled to find his rhythm and was unable to advance beyond the first round, ending his bid for a three-peat.

Had Lillard been successful, he would have joined an elite group of NBA legends who have accomplished the rare feat of winning three consecutive 3-Point Contests. Currently, that exclusive club includes only Boston Celtics forward Larry Bird and Chicago Bulls guard Craig Hodges, both renowned for their shooting prowess.

Herro’s victory adds his name to the list of All-Star Weekend champions, and his clutch shooting under pressure demonstrated why he is considered one of the most dangerous perimeter threats in the game today.
