NBA insider Michael Scotto reported that Young, who showcased his talents at the All-Star Weekend’s Up Next Game, has been averaging an impressive 22.4 points, 7.3 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game for the Gold.
After going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft, Young joined the Denver Nuggets for the 2024 NBA Summer League, looking to prove himself. On July 31, 2024, he signed with the Nuggets, but was waived by the team on October 8. Undeterred, he quickly found a new home with the Grand Rapids Gold on October 28.
For the Bulls, who are currently 10th in the Eastern Conference with a 22-33 record, Young provides a potential boost in their backcourt depth. His two-way deal allows him to continue playing for both the Bulls and the Gold, ensuring that he will remain active and ready for any call-up.
