The Dallas Mavericks have not provided an official update on Dwight Powell’s health in over a week, but Grant Afseth of Dallas Hoops Journal reports that the veteran center has been participating in full workouts during the All-Star break.

Powell has been sidelined since January 17 with a right hip strain, and although he doesn’t typically play a major role in the Mavs’ rotation, the team is eager to have him back in action.

The Mavericks’ frontcourt depth has taken a hit, with key players such as Dereck Lively, Daniel Gafford, and Anthony Davis all dealing with their own injuries.

Powell has played 11 seasons for the Mavericks and Celtics. He has averaged 6.9 points and 4.3 rebounds in 683 regular-season games.
