Philadelphia 76ers head coach Nick Nurse applauded Guerschon Yabusele’s ability to make the right plays following Friday’s 137-134 home loss vs. the Denver Nuggets (28 points/7 rebounds/2 assists/3 steals/12-17 FG/4-7 3-PT/+1 +/-).

“I think I wasn’t 100% sure he was gonna be this good a pick-and-pop floor spacer that he’s become. And that, I think a lot of what he was getting tonight, just because they’re gonna park [Nikola] Jokic in the lane or the corner, so he can eventually migrate to the lane. Then in the second half, they finally started full rotating, and he just kept making the right plays and swinging. We were kinda into some swing-swing stuff, or swing-swing attack the close out. Again, he just mostly makes the right play, right? When it’s time to shoot, he shoots. If it’s time to drive, he drives. If it’s time to swing it and move it on, he does. And if it’s time to run the next action, he does that. So, it’s a pretty big responsibility.”
