Charlotte Hornets star Brandon Miller underwent surgery on Thursday to address a torn scapholunate ligament in his right wrist, a critical procedure for repairing damage to this important stabilizing ligament.

Dr. Michelle Carlson, a renowned hand and wrist surgery specialist at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, operated.

As a result of the injury and subsequent procedure, Miller will be sidelined for the remainder of the season. Updates on his recovery progress and any changes to his status will be provided as necessary.

This season, Miller demonstrated exceptional performance, averaging an impressive 21.0 points per game while contributing 4.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.1 steals over 27 games.

Notably, his perimeter shooting was a standout aspect of his game, as he connected on 3.9 three-pointers per contest, ranking him fifth among all NBA players in this category.

Since entering the league, Miller has played in 101 games, starting in 95 of them. He has established himself as a consistent scorer and playmaker, with career averages of 18.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.
