After Indiana Pacers lost against San Antonio Spurs (110-140) in the NBA Paris Global 2025 first game, Bennedict Mathurin from Indiana was communication with media in French, and only one question in English was from TalkBasket.net.

During the press conference in Accor Arena in Paris, French media was interested in Bennedict’s opinion about young and talented Spur’s center Wembanyama and about his time in Paris with his team. The only one question in English during his press conference was about importance of playing an NBA regular season game in front of the kids in basketball that weren’t able to watch live action in the NBA before.

“It is very important having the kids watching the game. Myself growing up, I didn’t have channel to watch live NBA games and I feel that was something I wish I had growing-up, because I love basketball. Having kids watch the games, especially games in Paris, I think it is a great thing. I think it’s a blessing”, said Bennedict whose team will face San Antonio Spurs once more on Saturday in Paris.
