Draymond Green was forced to leave the Golden State Warriors victory on Saturday due to a left calf injury that occurred just minutes into the game.

The forward, who had only played for three minutes, experienced tightness in his left calf and was immediately sidelined.

The Warriors are being cautious with the injury, and Green is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Sunday to assess the severity and determine whether additional treatment or time off is necessary.

His condition will likely influence the team’s approach moving forward.

Stephen Curry also faced injury concerns during the game, as he was forced to exit early after rolling his left ankle with just over a minute remaining.

Curry, who has been dealing with injury issues in recent seasons, left the floor before the game’s conclusion.

However, the two-time MVP provided an encouraging update following the game, saying his ankle “feels great” and that he expects to be ready to play when the Warriors host the Boston Celtics on Monday.

Despite the scare, Curry’s quick recovery suggests the injury may not be as serious as initially feared.

Saturday’s win was crucial for the Warriors, pushing them back above the .500 mark at 21-20, giving them a significant boost in the tightly contested Western Conference standings.

With their victory, the Warriors are now sitting in 10th place, just outside the playoff picture but in striking distance of moving up further.
