The Memphis Grizzlies have signed Zyon Pullin to a two-way contract, as announced via the team’s official Twitter account. In a corresponding move, the Grizzlies have parted ways with Colin Castleton.
Pullin, a 6’4” guard, went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft before initially signing a two-way deal with the Miami Heat. His stint with the Heat was short-lived, as he was waived in late July, eventually joining the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA G League.
During his time with the Skyforce this season, Pullin has shown his versatility, averaging 9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 22.4 minutes per game. His ability to contribute on both ends of the floor likely caught the attention of Memphis, prompting them to bring him aboard.
The Grizzlies’ decision to waive Colin Castleton clears the way for Pullin’s arrival. Castleton played sparingly for Memphis this season, appearing in 10 games and averaging just 1.4 points in 4.6 minutes per contest. However, he was more productive with the Memphis Hustle in the G League, where he posted averages of 16.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3 assists in 31.3 minutes per game across nine appearances.
