Despite the Washington Wizards’ challenging 5-24 record, veteran guard Malcolm Brogdon remains optimistic about the team’s long-term potential and progress.

According to Josh Robbins of The Athletic, Brogdon expressed confidence that the team is steadily improving, despite the tough results so far this season.

After their overtime loss to New York on Saturday, Brogdon was resolute in his belief that the Wizards are on the right track.

“This team is actually just getting better every day,” Brogdon said, noting that their growth is evident even in the face of difficult losses.

He pointed to a specific victory, which he thought might have been against Denver, as a key moment in their development.

“… We won that one game – maybe that was Denver, or whatever game that was – and we’ve seen ourselves, even with the losses after that game, get better every day, every practice, every game,” Brogdon explained.
