Former NBA forward Kenneth Faried has signed a contract with Italy’s Pallacanestro Reggiana, the team announced in a press release.

Faried, 35, is an eight-year veteran who played the majority of his career with the Denver Nuggets, where he spent seven seasons. Known for his energy and rebounding ability, Faried was a key player for Denver from 2011 to 2018.

During his time with the Nuggets, he averaged 10.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, earning a reputation as one of the league’s most relentless rebounders.

Faried’s last stint in the NBA was with the Houston Rockets during the 2018-19 season, where he played 25 games before moving to international basketball.

After leaving the NBA, Faried had short stays in China with the Zhejiang Golden Bulls and in Russia with the UNICS Kazan, where he continued to showcase his skills overseas.

More recently, he returned to North America and spent the past two seasons with the Mexico City Capitanes in the NBA G League, contributing significantly with averages of 15.4 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.

Now, with his move to Pallacanestro Reggiana, Faried is set to continue his professional career in Italy’s Lega Basket Serie A (LBA), further extending his basketball journey after his time in the NBA and international leagues.
