P.A.O.K.- Kavala B.C. 71-60

Kavala had a very slow start in the game, scoring only 6 points during the first period, and from then on they tried to geet in front but PAOK team had Vassileiadis in great shape (16p. and 6 rebs), helping his team to reac hthe win without trying very hard.

Arkadikos- A.E.K. 74-78

AEK had a tough time on the road against Arkadikos, since the home team played tough defense at points, while they had great offensive plan, taking the lead 41-40 at halftime. The visitors caught Arkadikos off-guard after the restart and had a partial 9-18 run at the 3rd period, pressing full court. Of course they were not safe until the end since their opponents refused to give up on the match, but some open shots for AEK did the job at the end. Mavrokefalides was once again outstanding with 20 points to lead “Enosi” to the win.

Kolossos Rhodes- Aris 76-70

Venetokleio is a difficult home court for every team that visits Kolossos, and Aris was yet another of their victims as the perimeter shooting from the Rhodians was superb (13/28) and boosted them towards the win against a tough opponent. Saloustros was the MVP with 16 points and 4/4 three-pointers.

Lavrio G.S.- Koroivos Amaliadas 81-72

Marko Keselj debuted for 8 minutes for Lavrio, but it was Balds who made the difference in the match with 24 points, while Koroivos could not find easy buckets inside, and tested their luck from outside, but with poor shooting totals.

Apollon Patras- Trikala B.C. 83-77

Both teams focused on offense but Apollon was the one that defended effectively in the end to make it to the win at home. It was a very back-n-forth matchup with the two clubs looking to provide nice plays inside the paints, but finally Apollon Patras, who had Labropoulos with 18 points and 9 rebounds, dominated.

A.G.O.Rethimno- Olympiacos 70-85

A much needed rest for the “Reds” in Crete as they got in the game strong and got a safe lead 33-50 by halftime. From then on they easily controlled the pace, had many offensive solutions and came up with a good win to boost their confidence even more for the upcoming tough games in Greece and Euroleague.

Panathinaikos- A.E.N.Kifissias 73-67

Panathinaikos was clearly fatigued from the last difficult games and on the other side AENK came to OAKA to put up a big fight. As a result, the visitors got the “Greens” of guard, ended the first period leading 14-22 and the halftime score was 32-34, with Panathinaikos having their worst half of the season so far. It seems that the talk on the locker rooms was very intense from coach Djordjevic and made his players run a 25-8 score during the 3rd period to secure their undefeated run in the league. Numb Monday at work for Panathinaikos but at least Feldein was there with his 21 points and 5 rebounds.
