Atlanta Hawks All-Star Trae Young has officially joined Jordan Brand, a move that solidifies his status as one of the league’s premier players.
Young expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “This brand embodies basketball, style, a desire to win and the desire to be great.”
The announcement was shared by NBA insider Nick DePaula, who revealed that Young will headline the upcoming Air Jordan 39 and further his influence at the University of Oklahoma, now a Jordan-affiliated program.
This marks a significant step for the star guard, as he continues to build his off-court brand while excelling on the court.
Young, a three-time NBA All-Star, has been a standout in his seventh season with Atlanta. He is currently averaging 21.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and an impressive 11.6 assists per game while logging 35.9 minutes per contest.
Known for his flashy playstyle and court vision, Young has been a driving force behind the Hawks’ success in recent years.
By joining Jordan Brand, Young follows in the footsteps of other elite athletes who have aligned themselves with the iconic label, founded by basketball legend Michael Jordan.
The collaboration will also bring attention to Young’s alma mater, the University of Oklahoma, which now features the Jordan logo on its athletic apparel.
