Los Angeles Clippers head coach Ty Lue spoke highly about Kris Dunn’s versatile defense following last night’s 104-93 home win vs. the Orlando Magic (7 points/3 rebounds/3 assists/1 steal/3-8 FG/1-2 3-PT/+12 +/-).

Reporter: “I wanted to ask you about Kris Dunn individually. He’s been solid all year for you guys defensively, but tonight it seemed like he was so disruptive on the ball getting his hands on deflections, steals. Do you see First or Second Team All-Defense for him in his future?”

Lue: “Yeah, for sure. He guards every position. To guard Franz [Wagner] at the three tonight, and then guard Steph [Curry] the other night. He can guard multiple positions and does a great job of doing it. He really takes guys out of the game. He’s 6-3, but he’s physical. He can guard a post-up, gets through DHOs. Can guard pick-and-rolls, one-on-one. And then he’s also a great help defender. He can help go for steals and deflections, and still close out and get back out to shooters. So, he definitely deserves that. When we brought him here this year, that’s all he talked about is wanting to be on one of those teams.”
