The Utah Jazz have reached an agreement to sign David Jones to a Two-Way contract, bolstering their roster with a versatile player showing strong potential.

Jones was previously under a Two-Way deal with the Philadelphia 76ers until September but has since been showcasing his talents with the Mexico City Capitanes in the NBA G League.

In his four appearances for the Capitanes this season, Jones has been putting up impressive all-around numbers, averaging 21.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.2 blocks while logging 29 minutes per game.

These stats highlight his scoring ability, defensive prowess, and capacity to contribute across multiple facets of the game.

Jones, who went undrafted in 2024 after playing college basketball at Memphis, has been working to prove himself at the professional level.

His signing with the Jazz provides him with an opportunity to bring his skill set to an NBA team while continuing to develop through both NBA and G League play under the Two-Way contract system.
