Jonathan Motley, the former NBA big man, has officially left Hapoel Tel Aviv to pursue an opportunity to return to the NBA, according to Jake Fischer.
The 29-year-old has signed with the G League in hopes of rekindling his professional basketball career and securing a spot on an NBA roster.
Motley, who most recently played with Hapoel Tel Aviv in the EuroCup, has shown strong performance this season. In his six appearances, he averaged 17.5 points, 6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 24 minutes per game.

The 6-foot-8 forward/center has previously spent time in the NBA, having played for the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers. His last NBA stint was during the 2019-20 season with the Clippers.
Over the course of three seasons, Motley played in 46 games, averaging 4.9 points and 2.4 rebounds in just 8.1 minutes per game.
