According to Tim Bontemps, the Miami Heat are not rushing to make any trades. With the Eastern Conference still relatively open, Miami feels no urgency to change its roster just yet.
At the start of the season, the Heat set out to evaluate their team’s performance before making any decisions, and that approach has remained consistent. They’re focused on understanding their current roster’s dynamics before considering any moves.
“Given the extraordinarily forgiving nature of the East, don’t expect Miami to make any early moves,” Bontemps explains. “Entering the season, the Heat wanted to see how their roster would look and then evaluate from there. That thought process hasn’t changed.”
