The Los Angeles Lakers are only allowing Bronny James to play in home games for the South Bay Lakers in the G League, according to Brian Windhorst. He will not be traveling for any road games.
While this setup involves some level of special treatment and nepotism, Windhorst doesn’t see an issue with it. However, he believes it could be detrimental to Bronny’s development.
He’s unsure whose decision this was, but it’s clear the Lakers are comfortable with it. Windhorst thinks that, in this case, the arrangement does not benefit Bronny, the South Bay Lakers, or even LeBron at this point.
