The Olympics 2028 is still years away but everyone is already looking forward to its events. Most of the details are still yet to be finalised but one in particular is especially exciting. That is the hosting of basketball games for the Los Angeles Olympics (LA28) at the Intuit Dome, home of the LA Clippers.

The official account for the Olympic Games (@Olympics) posted their excitement on X (formerly Twitter) on 25th October. It came with a GIF of slideshows showing facts about the Intuit Dome as an easy-to-digest bit for their followers.

Everything to know about the Intuit Dome, Inglewood, California

The Intuit Dome is a cashless venue. You’ll need to download the LA Clippers + Intuit Dome app from the App Store or Google Play. If you have played online cashless services like Bitcasino, then you already know how to set up your payment method.

First, you will need to sign up by providing your preferred email address and then log in to manage your payment method. You can log in with your Ticketmaster account as long as you’re using the same email address. Once in, choose a payment method and input the credentials it asks for. Your options are credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and e-wallets.

The Intuit Dome is an indoor arena in Inglewood, California. It can hold up to 18,000 seating capacity with a field size of 915,000 feet2 or 85,000 metres2. The venue officially opened on 15th August 2024 and held its first-ever preseason game on 14th October between the LA Clippers and the Dallas Mavericks.

One last feature is a piece of technology that is still unique to the Intuit Dome, the Halo Board. It won the award for the #1 Electric Board in 2017. The Halo Board is a technological marvel with a 360-degree video board made up of more than 37 million LEDs of 63,000 foot2 canvas.

The Intuit Dome is the symbol of elite-level sports

The Intuit Dome is primed to be a symbol of elite-level sports whether it’s the National Basketball Association (NBA) or the Summer Olympics. It is also scheduled to be the host of the NBA All-Star Game on 15th February, cementing its place as an example of the next generation in sports.

Should other stadiums pursue the same level of innovation?

Occasionally, there will come along an impressive entity to inspire its peers and revolutionize its industry. For example, the trend for licensed Bitcoin casino gaming started with Bitcasino, which is going to be the Intuit Dome for indoor courts. No doubt that other sports have their trendsetters as well.

For now, Intuit Dome is objectively the most beautiful and impressive sports venue for basketball in the United States. You will see more elite-level stadiums appear one after another in the future, too. The NBA certainly has the capacity for that and fans are eagerly looking forward to what comes next in their beloved sport.
