The Los Angeles Clippers have entered a new era, leaving behind their 25-year tenure at Staples Center, now Crypto.com Arena, to settle into the state-of-the-art Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

The team’s new home offers cutting-edge features and amenities, and for Clippers guard Terance Mann, it signifies more than just a change in venue.

Mann expressed his excitement about having a dedicated space for the team. Speaking with Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson, Mann said, “Just having our own stuff…we’re not seeing Lakers banners and stuff like that. So, it’s pretty cool.”

The Clippers’ previous arena was also home to the Los Angeles Lakers, with their championship banners prominently displayed—a reminder of the city’s other storied franchise.

The Intuit Dome offers a plethora of features designed to enhance both player and fan experiences. With USB chargers at every seat, a hydrotherapy pool, and expansive training facilities, it ensures that the Clippers have everything they need under one roof. Fans can enjoy swift concession stands, valet parking, and entertainment on the arena’s unique Halo Board, which replaces the traditional Jumbotron with an immersive circular display.

Mann highlighted the importance of these advancements for the team. “Being able to come in here and practice here; being able to use both courts…the main court and the practice courts right here, having the weight room here,” he said, emphasizing the convenience of the integrated design.

The Intuit Dome also draws comparisons to another modern landmark in Inglewood, the SoFi Stadium. Mann noted the similarities, calling SoFi “that type of A-list” facility. As a premier destination, the Dome is already setting itself apart as a marquee venue, further elevating the Clippers’ identity.

The Clippers’ move to their own arena symbolizes a broader effort to step out of the Lakers’ shadow and establish themselves as a powerhouse in Los Angeles. For Mann and his teammates, the Intuit Dome is not just an arena—it’s a symbol of independence and a brighter future.

Despite the absence of Kawhi Leonard due to injury, the Clippers have shown resilience in their new home. The team kicked off the 2024-25 season strong, boasting a 9-5 record at the Intuit Dome and sitting in the sixth spot in the Western Conference.

As the Clippers settle into their new home, the Intuit Dome is not just a venue but a symbol of their growing independence and ambition. The arena also promises to play a key role in the 2028 Summer Olympics, further cementing its place in global sports history.
