The Los Angeles Lakers are set for their first back-to-back games of the season this weekend. On Friday, they took on the Suns at home, and on Saturday night, they’ll face the Sacramento Kings, also at home. Veteran star LeBron James has expressed his intent to play in both games, hinting at a commitment to a full schedule.

“Yeah. I plan on playing every game. We’ll see what happens. You never know. We’ll see what happens if I don’t,” James said when asked specifically about his plans for the second night of this back-to-back set.

Lakers head coach JJ Redick, meanwhile, emphasized a flexible approach to player availability, focusing on how the players feel after Friday’s game and on Saturday morning.

“How do they feel when they get up Saturday morning?” Redick explained, underscoring the real-time assessment the team will use before deciding on lineups against the Kings.
