The Milwaukee Bucks have released center Anzejs Pasecniks and converted Liam Robbins to a two-way NBA contract. The decision was reported by NBA insider Shams Charania.
Pasecniks signed a two-way contract with the Bucks on August 12, but he was waived just days later on October 19. The Latvian international had previously played a total of 28 NBA games, averaging 5.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 15.8 minutes per game during his time with the Washington Wizards.
During the 2024 preseason, Pasecniks appeared in four games for the Bucks. He averaged 5.3 points and 4 rebounds in 13.3 minutes per game.
In contrast, Robbins joins Milwaukee after an eventful year. The 7-foot center went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft. He signed with the New Orleans Pelicans on September 30, 2023, but was waived on October 12.
After his release, Robbins signed with the Birmingham Squadron but suffered a season-ending injury on January 12, 2024, before playing a game for them.
On August 27, 2024, Robbins found a new opportunity with the Milwaukee Bucks. After participating in the preseason, he impressed the coaching staff enough to earn a two-way contract on October 19.
During his preseason appearances with the Bucks, Robbins averaged 4 points and 2.8 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per game.
