The Philadelphia 76ers have announced their 2024 preseason schedule. The team will open their preseason on Monday, Oct. 7, against the New Zealand Breakers. The game is set for 7 p.m. ET at The Center in Philadelphia.

This contest will be the first of two home exhibition games for the 76ers ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season.

After facing the Breakers, the 76ers will host the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Philadelphia will then travel to Iowa to face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, Oct. 11.

This road game will take place at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, marking a return to the home state of head coach Nick Nurse.

Following the Timberwolves game, the 76ers will face the Boston Celtics on Saturday, Oct. 12.

The team will continue their road trip with a game against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, Oct. 14.

Philadelphia will conclude their preseason with a matchup against the Orlando Magic on Friday, Oct. 18.

All six of the 76ers’ preseason games will be broadcast on 97.5 The Fanatic, the team’s flagship radio station.

NBC Sports Philadelphia will televise both of the team’s home exhibition games.

The New Zealand Breakers, who play in Australia’s National Basketball League, are no strangers to NBA competition.

The Breakers have participated in NBA preseason games against teams such as the Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies, and Oklahoma City Thunder in previous years.

The 76ers finished the 2023-24 season with a 47-35 record, marking their seventh consecutive winning season.

As they prepare for the upcoming season, the 76ers are looking to integrate their new additions and solidify their roster.
