The Toronto Raptors have signed forward Dylan Disu to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to reports.
Blake Murphy tweeted the signing, confirming Disu’s addition to the Raptors’ roster.
Disu, a standout at both Vanderbilt and Texas, brings versatility and rebounding ability to the Raptors’ frontcourt.
As a freshman at Vanderbilt, Disu averaged 7.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
He posted a career-high 29 points and 16 rebounds in a game against Kentucky in February 2021.
His sophomore season was cut short due to a knee injury, but Disu still led the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in rebounding.
After the season, he was named SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Disu transferred to Texas, citing it as his “dream school,” where he continued to excel.
In his final season at Texas, Disu averaged 15.5 points, 5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 25.7 minutes per game.
The Raptors have brought Disu in on an Exhibit 10 deal, which allows him to compete for a roster spot.
If he doesn’t make the Raptors’ final roster, Disu will likely join the Raptors 905, the team’s G League affiliate.
The Exhibit 10 contract is non-guaranteed but offers a bonus if the player joins the G League after being waived.
