Muggsy Bogues recently shared his perspective on what differentiates LeBron James from Michael Jordan during an appearance on “The Mark Jackson Show.”
Bogues, a veteran of 14 NBA seasons, offered his views on the ongoing debate over basketball’s greatest player.
He pointed out that James is not considered the greatest of all time (GOAT) in part due to his free-throw shooting.
“LeBron can’t shoot free throws,” Bogues said. “I’m not saying that he can’t shoot free throws, but he’s not a great free-throw shooter.”
Bogues contrasted this with Jordan, noting, “When it comes to the game of basketball, that’s where it separates MJ and LeBron, in terms of the skill set. Michael did not have deficiencies in his game, fundamentally.”
This assessment highlights Bogues’ belief that Jordan’s all-around skill set gives him an edge over James in the GOAT conversation.
