The Golden State Warriors have agreed to Exhibit 10 contracts with Javan Johnson and Donta Scott, as first reported by NBA insider Michael Scotto.
Johnson, a forward from DePaul University, was known for his strong shooting and offensive skills during his college career.
He ranked fourth in DePaul’s all-time single-season three-pointers with 82 and was the team’s second-leading scorer in the 2022-23 season, averaging 14.2 points per game.
Johnson’s standout performance included a career-high 28 points against Samford, where he made six three-pointers and recorded four blocks.
Last season, he played for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League, posting averages of 11.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.
Scott, a forward from the University of Maryland, brings a versatile skill set and experience from his five years in college basketball.
Scott became a starter during his freshman year and continued to develop his offensive game, finishing his college career with averages of 11.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game last season.
He shot 48.8 percent from the field during his sophomore year and remained one of Maryland’s key contributors throughout his time with the team.
Exhibit 10 deals allow NBA teams to evaluate players during training camp while providing an option to convert the contract into a two-way deal or a G League contract.
