On Wednesday, the Miami Heat added Bryson Warren and Malik Williams to their roster under Exhibit 10 contracts, only to waive both players the following day.
According to Ira Winderman of The South Florida Sun Sentinel, Miami is expected to make a similar move with free-agent guard Caleb Daniels soon.
This signing-and-waiving process would allow Daniels to receive a $77.5K bonus, in addition to his NBA G League salary, provided he spends at least 60 days with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Heat’s G League affiliate.
Daniels, a 25-year-old Villanova alum, went undrafted in 2023.
After signing an Exhibit 10 with Miami and being waived, Daniels spent his rookie season with the Skyforce, averaging 12.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 47 games.
