The Milwaukee Bucks have finalized a deal with center Ibou Badji, according to NBA insider Michael Scotto.

Badji, who appeared in 22 games for the Portland Trail Blazers last season, has joined the Bucks in a new agreement.

Before his time with the Trail Blazers, Badji trained with FC Barcelona’s first team for the 2019–20 season and played extensively with Barcelona B.

He signed with Força Lleida CE of the LEB Oro on October 4, 2021, and later joined the Wisconsin Herd on November 3, 2022, following the NBA draft.

On November 18, 2022, the Trail Blazers signed Badji to a two-way contract, which was interrupted by a knee surgery in March 2023.

He was briefly waived by the Trail Blazers in October 2023 but returned to the Wisconsin Herd shortly after.

Badji rejoined the Trail Blazers on November 22, 2023, and made his NBA debut on December 26, 2023, against the Sacramento Kings.

In his brief NBA stint, he averaged 1.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 10.3 minutes per game last season.
