The Chicago Bulls have officially signed forward EJ Liddell, as reported by NBA insider Michael Scotto.
Liddell, an Illinois native, was the No. 41 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and spent last season with the New Orleans Pelicans.
In his brief time with the Pelicans, Liddell appeared in eight games, averaging 0.5 points and 0.6 rebounds in 2.9 minutes per game.
His signing with the Bulls marks a homecoming for the forward, who played his high school basketball in Illinois.
During his college career at Ohio State, Liddell averaged 19.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game in his final season.
The 6-foot-7 forward earned All-Big Ten honors and was known for his ability to impact both ends of the floor.
