Former NBA player Andre Roberson has taken the next step in his basketball journey by signing with French club Cholet, according to Eurohoops.net.

Roberson, once a key defensive player for the Oklahoma City Thunder, spent most of his NBA career with the team, earning a reputation as a versatile defender and reliable role player.

His last stint in the NBA was during the 2020/21 season, where he made a brief appearance in five games for the Brooklyn Nets after dealing with a series of injuries that limited his playing time in recent years.

In addition to his NBA experience, Roberson has remained active in competitive basketball. Earlier in 2023, he participated in an international tournament in Dubai, playing alongside other former NBA players, and showcasing his talent on a global stage.

In July, Roberson took part in The Basketball Tournament (TBT) in Louisville, a popular summer event featuring high-level competition from former professionals, college stars, and international players.

These experiences have helped Roberson stay connected to the game and sharpen his skills as he transitions to playing in Europe.

By signing with Cholet, Roberson is looking to revitalize his career and contribute to a competitive team in the French league.

His experience, defensive prowess, and ability to adapt to different roles on the court could make him a valuable asset as he embarks on this new chapter overseas.
