Axel Toupane, who won a championship with Milwaukee in 2021, is set to join the Diablo Rojos for the upcoming Mexican LNBP season, according to a source who spoke with Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports. Toupane, 32, played in 33 regular-season games for three different NBA teams across three seasons.
Since 2011, he has had an extensive international career, playing for teams in France, Lithuania, Greece, and Spain. Last season, he competed for Metropolitans 92 in France’s top basketball league (LNB Elite).
