Caitlin Clark continues to draw huge crowds wherever she plays. The Indiana Fever defeated the Atlanta Dream 84-79 on Monday night. Clark, a Rookie of the Year favorite, contributed 19 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.
However, the night’s highlight wasn’t just her performance but the record-setting crowd she attracted. According to Front Office Sports, 17,608 fans packed State Farm Arena in Atlanta, marking a franchise attendance record.
Normally, the team plays at Gateway Center Arena, with a capacity of just 3,500, but the game was moved to the larger venue to accommodate the increased demand.
Caitlin Clark set another WNBA attendance record after more than 17,600 people attended her Monday night game.
