Kwame Brown is calling out black celebrity “gatekeepers” who he says are “shaming” people into voting for Kamala Harris, known for a string of failures, including an unsecured border, soaring inflation and widespread global instability, solely because she’s black. The former Laker argues that “Kamala’s skin color won’t pay for our groceries.”
In a video posted Monday, he specifically criticized comedians Ricky Smiley, DL Hughley, and Steve Harvey, accusing them of pushing the black vote for Harris based on race rather than what’s best for the black community.
Brown also criticized Harris for prioritizing government grants and contracts for the Asian community over the needs of the black community.
“When you talk about real situations, people are not concerned with somebody being black or not. You’re not paying nobody’s bills with your skin color. Kamala Harris is not going to help get your bills paid just cuz she’s black.”
Brown continued, “Inflation is at an all-time high. And when you go and look at the politicians – and this is what’s said about Ricky Smiley, DL Hughley, Steve Harvey, is that nobody calls these gatekeepers out.”
