The defending NBA champions, the Boston Celtics, will host the New York Knicks in a ring night ceremony to celebrate their recent title.

The second game of the night will feature the Minnesota Timberwolves visiting the Los Angeles Lakers.

Both games will be broadcasted on TNT, offering fans a high-stakes start to the new season.

The Celtics will unveil their championship rings as they open the season against the Knicks.

The Timberwolves will face the Lakers in what promises to be a competitive clash in the Western Conference.

Charania also revealed that the Philadelphia 76ers with Paul George will open their season at home against the Milwaukee Bucks on October 23.

Additionally, on October 23, the Los Angeles Clippers will open their new arena, Intuit Dome, against the Phoenix Suns.
