Team USA head coach Steve Kerr has praised Devin Booker as an “unsung MVP” following the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

While LeBron James earned MVP honors for the tournament, Kerr highlighted Booker’s crucial yet often overlooked contributions.

Booker, known for his offensive prowess with the Phoenix Suns, adapted his game to focus more on defense for the national team.

“He was incredible this entire round. Just what he does, play to play to play. Rock solid. Completely changed his role from the NBA to now. He was kind of our unsung MVP. I just wanted to say that,” Kerr said, via David Aldridge.

In Paris, Booker averaged 11.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game while playing 22 minutes per outing.

His defensive commitment and adaptability were vital to Team USA’s success, despite his contributions not always being in the spotlight.
