Ahead of tonight’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr took a moment to praise Devin Booker for his ability to adjust his playing style to fit alongside other top-tier talent during his time with the U.S. Olympic team.

Speaking in a Twitter video shared by PHNX Sports, Kerr commended Booker’s versatility and willingness to embrace a different role for the success of the team.

“It’s not easy for a guy to adapt his normal role of go-to-guy, scorer and then to be asked to be a defender, connector and then thrive in that role,” Kerr explained. “And then become a star when we needed him to become a star.”

By excelling as a defender and connector, Booker demonstrated the ability to elevate his game when the moment demanded, showcasing why he remains one of the NBA’s most dynamic players.
