Anthony Edwards expressed his excitement about playing with Kevin Durant on Team USA.

The Minnesota Timberwolves star is part of a star-studded lineup at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“It’s everything I’ve ever dreamed of,” Edwards told Marc J. Spears of Andscape.

Edwards, who led Team USA at the 2023 FIBA World Cup, now joined a team with LeBron James, Steph Curry, Joel Embiid, Anthony Davis, and Jayson Tatum and other NBA stars.

Playing alongside his idol, Durant, has been a significant experience for Edwards.

“Hell yeah. Him and ‘Bron are the best two team people,” Edwards said.

“They always want to see the person next to them shine. I’m the same way. It’s perfect.”

The 2024 Team USA roster boasts unparalleled talent and experience.

This lineup aims to reclaim Olympic gold after a disappointing showing in last year at the World Cup in which the Americans finished fourth.

Edwards’ addition brings youthful energy and scoring prowess to the team.

His performance in the previous World Cup showcased his leadership and potential.

Now, surrounded by seasoned players, Edwards looks forward to contributing on a bigger stage.

The synergy between Edwards and Durant reflects a mutual respect and shared goal.
