Mike Krzyzewski has named Kevin Durant as the best player in Team USA’s history.
Coach K, who led Team USA to three Olympic gold medals, highlighted Durant’s longevity and achievements.
“I think he is because of longevity and accomplishment. Again, it’s unique, but the amount of points he has scored, he has scored a lot more than anyone else,” he said.
Durant, at 35, is participating in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and is currently the national team’s all-time top scorer.
In Paris, Durant is averaging a team-high 18.5 points per game.
Durant’s scoring record and contributions have set him apart as a pivotal figure in Team USA’s success.
