
Isaiah Thomas, the two-time NBA All-Star guard, participated in a workout session with the Milwaukee Bucks in Las Vegas, aiming for an NBA comeback.
According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Thomas joined a group of former NBA guards, including Justise Winslow, Hamidou Diallo, Will Barton, and Jaylen Nowell, all vying for a training camp opportunity with the Bucks.
“Sources tell me Isaiah Thomas worked out for the Bucks today in Las Vegas. The two-time NBA All-Star guard is on an NBA return after finishing up last season with the Phoenix Suns. He get a call up after a stellar few games in the NBA G League,” Charania said.
“They had a workout, the Bucks did, in Las Vegas. That included Isaiah Thomas, Justise Winslow, Hamidou Diallo, Will Barton and Jaylen Nowell. So you have few a former NBA guards potentially vying for a training camp opportunity with the Bucks.”
Thomas, now 35 years old, showcased his skills in the NBA G League last season, leading to a brief stint with the Phoenix Suns.
During his time with the Suns, Thomas played in six games, averaging 1.3 points in 3.2 minutes per game.
The workout session in Las Vegas offered Thomas a chance to demonstrate his readiness and fitness for potential NBA duties.
The veteran point guard has recently expressed his desire to make a comeback to the NBA.
