John Wall remains determined to make an NBA comeback despite spending the entire 2023-24 season without a team. The 33-year-old former No. 1 draft pick is resolute in his desire to return to the league.
According to Nick Jungfer of Basketball Forever, Wall expressed his commitment to whatever role is necessary for his comeback.
Speaking on ESPN’s Summer League broadcast, Wall emphasized his readiness to contribute in any capacity. “For me, I’m not giving up on my dreams of getting back into the league,” he stated. “My focus is to still work hard and come here and network and be around teams. Whatever role it is, I’m willing to accept.”
During the 2022-23 season, Wall last played for the Los Angeles Clippers, where he averaged 11.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in 22.2 minutes per game.
Despite facing challenges with injuries in recent years, Wall remains optimistic about his future in the NBA.
