John Wall is stepping into a major leadership role off the court, taking over as president of basketball operations at Howard University.

The five-time All-Star is returning to Washington, D.C., where he will work closely with one of the nation’s top HBCU programs, according to ESPN.

Over his NBA career, he averaged 18.7 points, 8.9 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game, establishing himself as one of the league’s premier point guards during his prime.
