The Charlotte Hornets have signed Taj Gibson to a one-year contract. The move is aimed at providing first-time head coach Charles Lee with a veteran presence on the team.
This upcoming season marks Gibson’s 16th in the NBA. He split last season between the New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons, where he was recognized for mentoring the Pistons’ young big men.
