Fenerbahce Istanbul has added significant firepower to its lineup with the acquisition of EuroLeague standout Wade Baldwin on a multi-year deal.
Baldwin, aged 28, joins Fenerbahce from Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he showcased his skills over the past two seasons.
Known for his scoring ability, Baldwin averaged 17.4 points and 4.9 assists per game last season.
The American guard’s stellar performance earned him a spot on the All-EuroLeague Second Team and contributed to Maccabi’s success in winning the Israeli League title consecutively.
Hailing from New Jersey, Baldwin began his basketball career at Vanderbilt University before entering the NBA as the 17th overall pick by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2016.
After stints with the Grizzlies and the Portland Trail Blazers, Baldwin made the move to Europe in 2019, initially joining Olympiacos Piraeus.
Baldwin’s European journey also includes stops at FC Bayern Munich and Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, where he continued to make significant contributions.
