FC Bayern Munich has signed Munich native Oscar da Silva to a three-year contract, enhancing their roster for the 2023-24 season.

Despite not having a head coach following Pablo Laso’s departure, Bayern secured da Silva, a 25-year-old power forward.

Da Silva arrives from FC Barcelona, where he spent the last two seasons.

Last season, da Silva averaged 5.1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 37 EuroLeague games for Barcelona.

Da Silva made his EuroLeague debut with ALBA Berlin in the 2021-22 campaign.

At Barcelona, da Silva contributed to winning the Spanish League championship in 2023 and reaching the EuroLeague Final Four.
