Clippers may still part ways with Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook has picked up his $4 million player option for the 2024-25 season with the Los Angeles Clippers. However, according to a source cited by Law Murray of The Athletic, Westbrook might not start the season with the team.

It’s unclear if he is a buyout candidate or could be traded. The Clippers are focused on managing the free agencies of Paul George and James Harden and aim to stay under the NBA’s $190 million second apron.
