Olympiacos Piraeus has secured the services of head coach Georgios Bartzokas for an additional year, extending his contract until the end of the 2025-26 season.

Bartzokas, who initially signed a three-year deal in 2022, has been instrumental in Olympiacos’ recent successes, including three straight EuroLeague Final Four appearances.

During his first stint with Olympiacos from 2012 to 2014, Bartzokas led the team to EuroLeague title in 2013, solidifying his legacy with the club.

Returning to Olympiacos in 2020, Bartzokas has continued to add to his impressive coaching resume, securing two Greek championships, three Greek Cups, and two Greek Super Cup victories.

His coaching prowess has earned him the title of EuroLeague Coach of the Year three times—in 2013, 2022, and 2023—placing him alongside legendary coach Zeljko Obradovic.
