The Los Angeles Lakers are continuing to pursue Dejounte Murray of the Atlanta Hawks, a player who has been on their radar for several months.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania on The Pat McAfee Show, the Lakers’ front office faces pressure to make significant roster changes, with Murray likely to be a key target in trade discussions.

“The pressure is on the Lakers front office to make changes to this roster… They have to be aggressive and I think Dejounte Murray will come up in trade conversations,” he said.

Reports indicate that the Atlanta Hawks are actively exploring trade options involving either Trae Young or Murray, possibly both, during this offseason.

Murray had a standout season, averaging 22.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game for the Hawks.
